Off we go

Ko Chang is a great place to chill and eat. It definitely met my expectation. The people were nice and the accommodations helped. I also saw the living condition of these people and it was an eye opener. Not to say these people aren't happy, but some of these places seem inhabitable by most standards. I read of an area near my hotel where about 2,000 Cambodian workers live. They work from dusk till dawn in scorching heat for about $3 a day. 3 fucking dollars. They work in construction or in hospitality. The other night as I was walking away from my hotel, about 50 yards away, I heard a loud noise near some trash cans. It scared me and I just assumed an animal was rummaging through them. It turned out to be an old person looking thru trash for maybe recyclables. Economic inequality fucking sucks.

    BTW, it's a good thing you got out of Bangkok. I just read that there are supposed to be massive political protests there this week.

    Awesome pictures. I wish I was there right now sitting on those beach chairs, sipping a pina colada, with a couple cambodians massaging my feet all day. I'd give them a raise too and pay them $3.50.

    I ain't no Ron Artest... I read about that protest. I'm leaving Bangkok this morning. Dude, there was this annoying French lady in line the Thai information counter at the airport. She was asking the Thai information lady if she had time to make it to some city in Thailand. The Thai lady kept saying I don't know since they are protesting and it's causing traffic issues. The French lady kept insisting for a definitive answer, yes or no. While I'm waiting in line to call the hotel for my driver. This goes on for like 5 mins. First, how is this Thai lady going to giver her an accurate report of traffic pattern? What is she fucking OnStar. Second, this French bitch starts copping an attitude. I start frantically searching for baby powder.

    iPhone shmyphone. Those comments and the writing is way to funny and grammatically correct for Hongster. My theory? He found some young Vietnamese assistant for $3 a day to follow him around and blog for him. Those young'uns are sure good at the internets.
